Privacy policy
Effective . This page describes expressive-tea.io — this site and nothing else.
Expressive Tea Software is an open-source project based in Mexico. We publish frameworks; we do not run a service, sell anything, or keep accounts. This page says exactly what happens when you load this site, and nothing that does not happen.
What this site collects: nothing
These pages are static files. They set no cookies, read and write nothing on your device, and run no analytics. Loading a page makes no request to any other company: the fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, and there are no embedded scripts, trackers, pixels, widgets, or embedded media.
Because nothing is stored on your device, there is nothing to consent to, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.
What our web server records
Like every web server, ours writes an access log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string. An IP address can identify a person, so we treat these logs as personal data.
We use them only to operate the site and to investigate abuse or faults — never to build a profile, and never to identify individual visitors. They are held on our hosting provider's servers, are not combined with anything else, and are not sold, rented, or shared. Under the GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): running a website securely is not possible without them.
Links to other sites
This page links to GitHub, npm, and our documentation subdomains. Your browser contacts them only if you click, and once you do you are on their site under their privacy policy, not ours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing, and you may complain to your national supervisory authority. Under Mexico's LFPDPPP you hold the ARCO rights — acceso, rectificación, cancelación y oposición.
In practice the only data we hold about a visitor is a log line. To ask about it, write to support@expressive-tea.io with enough detail to locate the entry — roughly when you visited, and from which IP address.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics, it will be a cookieless one that does not collect personal data, and this page will say so before it ships. Any change is reflected in the effective date at the top.
